Lives in Penicuik

I work in environmental physics, studying air pollution. My job gets me outdoors, setting up measuring kit in fields, forests, peat bogs but I also spend far too much on the pc. I have two dogs who I take to the local dog training club, they love doing agility. I enjoy: walking, reading, motorbikes, music, tv, films, art, being outdoors, cooking, diy, camping, festivals, travel, spending time with friends and family ...... lots of stuff. I like to keep busy and enjoy trying new things (although a night in on the sofa is nice to), but one thing I'm missing is a 2-legged man in my life.

- I've travelled a bit and enjoy visiting new places, meeting new people.
- I have an artistic side, I do a bit painting as well as being involved with my local community arts association, helping to organise events and generally run things.
- One of my favourite things is cooking for friends and just having a nice blether over a bottle of wine.
- I enjoy diy and I'm working my way through my flat, renovating and upgrading things - doing most of it myself. Its a very old building (built in the 1800's sometime) so it can be quite a challenge - you never know what you're going to find when you start one job it leads to 20 more!
- Friends would say I'm easy going, open to new things and ideas, eclectic in my tastes.

I'm not into long email conversations so if we think we might click, meeting up for a dog walk somewhere or something would be great. Although obviously if you live hundreds of miles away that may take a while to organise.
